Look Top Knot(ch) with Ouidad

This is our version of throwing our hair up. You would never know that this elegant up-do is beginner friendly and works on all hair types! Follow these steps to get your perfect hair height! 

STEP 1 - Add Ouidad Advanced Climate Control Detangling Spray for a heat protectant and tangle-free Step 2.

STEP 2 - Section your hair into 3 pieces with one on either side of your head and one in the back. 
STEP 3 – With some Ouidad Advanced Climate Control Featherlight Styling Cream take the back section and smooth it into a high ponytail.  

STEP 4 - Use a larger hair elastic/tie (one you can wrap around the hair more than two times). Hook a bobby pin on each side of the hair elastic. Anchor one pin into the base of the ponytail you are holding, but don’t let go of the ponytail yet! Holding the other bobby pin, wrap the elastic around the ponytail as many times as needed to feel secure. Anchor the second bobby into the base as well. Now you can let go.  
HOT TIP: using two bobby pins on either side of your elastic band will give you a tighter, higher ponytail with more hold! 
STEP 5 - One at a time, add each front section into your ponytail using a smaller elastic band. You should now have a single ponytail. Smooth your hair in place with Ouidad Advanced Climate Control Featherlight Styling Cream. 

STEP 6 – Curl your ponytail in sections using your Bio Ionic Long Barrel Curling Iron.  
STEP 7 – To add volume, tease the curled pieces using a comb.  
HOT TIP: This is a great technique for fine hair. 
STEP 8 – Roll curled sections up loosely and secure them around the base of the ponytail with bobby pins, shaping the pieces to your liking. 
STEP 9 - Touch up your top knot and sides with Ouidad Advanced Climate Control Feather Light Touch-up Gel Cream over your curls and edges to help smooth.
