• How does DevaCurl ensure the safety and efficiency of their products?

  We all know that the curl community wants products that are safe and effective and so does DevaCurl. That’s why all Deva Curl products comply with the safety and manufacturing regulations for cosmetics in the US, Canada and the European Union (which has some of the strictest cosmetics safety rules in the world)! This is done by Formula Safety Testing on every single DevaCurl® product by the following: Safety In Use Testing, Hair Breakage Test: Tensile Break Strength, Product Allergen Test: Human Repeat Insult Patch Testing and Package Compatibility

• Is DevaCurl sulphate-free?

  DevaCurl is not only sulphate-free, it is also silicone-free and paraben-free

• If I have a gluten sensitivity, is DevaCurl safe for me to use?

  Yes. Even though some DevaCurl products contain wheat-derived ingredients, they have been processed to remove gluten. All DevaCurl products have been lab tested and verified to be gluten-free

• What does the "No-Poo" mean in DevaCurl?

  No-Poo means that the sodium lauryl sulfate has been removed from the shampoo which means this product does not have any lather. Years ago, Stylists discovered that sodium lauryl sulfate was very harsh and that bubbles did not mean clean. DevaCurl created a botanically-infused cleanser with a specific pH level that could cleanse your scalp without stripping hair follicles 

• What is the difference between "No-Poo" and "Low-Poo"?

  DevaCurl No-Poo does not have any lather and Low-Poo has a mild lather. Low Poo’s mild lather is derived from a coconut surfactant, not from a foaming agent, so it is not drying
