Styling Tools & Liquids – All liquids and styling tools may be exchanged only, provided that the exchange is made within 15 days of the original purchase date and is accompanied by a receipt, or alternatively if the customer's purchase history and contact information is on file. All original components must be returned at that time (ie. packaging, free product, free gift). All liquids must be 2/3 full. If the customer does not want a new product immediately or if the product they want is not in stock, a gift card may be issued.
Home Hair Colour: Unopened home hair colour items may be exchanged only, provided that the exchange is made within 15 days of the original purchase date and is accompanied by proof of purchase such as a receipt, or alternatively, if the customer’s purchase history and contact information is on file.
Defective Styling Tools – Styling tools with a manufacturer defect may be exchanged within one year of original purchase date, provided they are accompanied by a receipt or alternatively if the customer's purchase history and contact information is on file. If there is no receipt or customer purchase history on file, no exchanges will be given.
Personal Items & Gift Cards – All personal items such as combs/brushes, nail polish, lip conditioners, opened hair colour and hair accessories are considered final sale items and are not exchangeable. Gift Cards are final sale and are not refundable and/or not exchangeable.
Online Purchases: Any purchase made from www.chatters.ca may be exchanged to the Chatters Distribution Centre or any Chatters store location for exchange only, provided that the exchange is made within 15 days of the original purchase date and is accompanied by proof of purchase, such as e-mail order confirmation (electronic or paper copies are both valid as proof of purchase).
Chain-wide Policy - Customers can exchange items between all Chatters locations, applicable to the same aforementioned guidelines.
Q: I can't find my favorite product anymore, can you help me?A: If you cannot find your favorite product, feel free to email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will try our best to find that product you are looking for.
Q: I want to get my hair cut. How can I find out how much it will cost?A: Pricing on hair services will vary slightly depending on the geographic location. Please contact the Chatters salon in your area for pricing inquiries.
Q: I'd like to come in for a color service. Can you give me a quote over the phone if I describe the length of my hair?A: We can't give a quote for color services over the phone. Everyone's hair is different and retail sales associates do not provide pricing on professional hair services. Only a stylist has the expertise to offer you this information. We do offer free consultations and prefer to offer a quote for color services based on an in-person consultation. Over the phone, we can quote you a price range for color services only.
Q: Do I need to book ahead or do you accept walk-ins?A: Appointments are preferred but walk-ins are also accepted as per availability.
