Arrive with clean lashes and brows. Skip mascara, brow gel, and any oil-based skincare products for at least 24 hours before your appointment2. If you regularly use waterproof mascara, stop using it a few days before your appointment, as it can leave residue that affects the lift3. Brow Lamination is a beauty treatment that involves using a gentle chemical solution designed to give your eyebrows a fuller, more defined, and groomed appearance by "setting" or “manipulating “ the hairs to lie in a specific direction in order to achieve your desired look. Our Beauty Services technicians will walk you through the quick and easy process when you come in for your appointment
- After a Brow Lamination service, proper aftercare is essential to maintain the results and protect the health of your brow hairs and skin. Here are some helpful tips for aftercare:
- Keep your brows dry for 24-48 hours which means, no water, steam, or sweat (avoid workouts, saunas, and swimming)
- Avoid excess rubbing and try if possible to sleep on your back for at least 1 night to prevent irritation
- The treatment is generally safe for most people, but there are some contraindications and conditions that could make it unsuitable:
- If the skin around your brows is broken, inflamed, sunburned, or showing signs of eczema, psoriasis, or rosacea, it's best to postpone the treatment
- If you’re allergic to perm solutions, ammonia derivatives, or tinting agents, Brow Lamination could trigger a reaction. Always request a patch test 24–48 hours before your appointment
- Some professionals avoid performing Lamination during pregnancy or breastfeeding due to hormonal changes that can affect skin sensitivity and how your hair reacts to chemicals. Have a conversation with your Beauty Services Technician about your variables

A Chatters Lash Lift and Tint is low risk and non-damaging , as all Chatters Beauty Service Technicians are trained, experienced and certified to safely offer these services
Lash Lift Services typically last between 6 to 8 weeks while Lash Tints typically last between 3 to 4 weeks as a result of cleansing, makeup removal, and natural exposure to water, oils, and sun
- The first 24 -48 hours are the most critical after a Lash and Tint service. Here are some easy tips to follow:
- Avoid getting your lashes wet
- Avoid rubbing and touching your lashes
- Avoid using makeup and makeup removers
- Avoid sleeping on your face
- Avoid using oil-based products
