Shipping & Returns


Chatters ships to Canadian addresses only and does not ship to international addresses at this time. Please be aware that orders could arrive in more than one package on separate days.

Free shipping on orders over $75 across Canada.

 

STANDARD GROUND SHIPPING:
  • Our Standard Shipping carrier is Canada Post for all deliveries, in order to accommodate all shipping needs across Canada.  Canada Post will deliver your package to the address indicated on your order. If there is no one available to receive the order, Canada Post will hold your parcel at the closest post office where you will be able to pick it up within a set time frame. In the event the parcel is refused or not picked up within this time frame, it will be sent back to Chatters' Warehouse with the option of re-shipping or refund, less a 20% processing fee.
  • In the event of a Canada Post outage, shipping will be through UPS following the same conditions as above.
  • Tracking is available through Canada Post and will indicate the estimated delivery date.
  • Express and Priority shipping are usually available at an additional cost.
  • Aerosol and nail polish items are not eligible for air shipping due to government regulated shipping standards.

DELIVERY PROCESSING TIME: Orders are only packaged and shipped on weekdays. Orders received by 11AM MST (Monday-Friday) are typically processed the same day. Orders received after 11AM MST are normally processed the next business day.  Orders can take anywhere from 2 to 14 business days to arrive.

SHIPPING FEES:  Some oversized and/or overweight items will incur an additional surcharge.

PRODUCT DISCLAIMER: While great care has been taken to ensure accuracy of all prices, descriptions, and images, Chatters reserves the right to correct errors or misprints, and adjust prices accordingly.

USE AND FITNESS OF PRODUCT: Chatters will not be liable for any product sold that has been damaged, rendered defective, or from any injury suffered as a result of accident, misuse, abuse, improper or inadequate maintenance of the product, or by any operation outside the normal usage parameters as described in the user instructions shipped with the product, or any other external cause.

 

Chatters Exchange Policy

Online exchange shipping charges are the responsibility of the purchaser.

NO HASSLE CUSTOMER EXCHANGE POLICY: Chatters guarantees guest satisfaction on every product and styling tool we sell. All in-store or online purchases are able to be exchanged between all Chatters locations, provided the following guidelines are met. Online Clearance items are final sale. 

LIQUIDS:  All liquids may be exchanged only, provided that the exchange is made within 15 days of original purchase date and is accompanied by proof of purchase, such as a receipt, or alternatively, if the customer's purchase history and contact information is on file. All original components must be returned at that time (ie. original packaging and if applicable, any accompanying free product/gift*) and liquid must have a minimum 2/3 full in original packaging. If the customer is unable to find a suitable product exchange or the desired item is not in stock, a gift card in the amount of the original price paid for the original purchase product, will be issued.

STYLING TOOLS: All styling tools may be exchanged only, provided that the return is made within 15 days of original purchase date, and is accompanied by proof of purchase such as a receipt, or alternatively, if the customer's purchase history and contact information is on file. All original components must be returned at that time (ie. original packaging and if applicable, any accompanying free product/gift*). If a customer is unable to find a suitable product exchange, or the desired item is not in stock, a gift card in the amount of the original price paid for the original purchased product, will be issued.

DEFECTIVE STYLING TOOLS: Styling tools with a manufacturer defect may be exchanged within one year of original purchase date, provided they are accompanied by a receipt or alternatively, if the customer's purchase history and contact information is on file. No exchanges will be given without proof of purchase.

HOME HAIR COLOUR: Unopened home hair colour items may be exchanged only, provided that the exchange is made within 15 days of the original purchase date and is accompanied by proof of purchase such as a receipt, or alternatively, if the customer’s purchase history and contact information is on file. All original components must be returned at that time (ie. original packaging and if applicable, any accompanying free product/gift). If the customer is unable to find a suitable exchange or the desired item is not in stock, a gift card in the amount of the original price paid for the original purchased product, will be issued.

PERSONAL ITEMS & GIFT CARDS: Personal items such as combs, brushes, nail products, polishes, cosmetics, hair accessories and opened Home Hair Colour items are final sale and not exchangeable. Gift Cards are final sale and are not refundable and/or not exchangeable.

ONLINE PURCHASES: Any purchase made from www.chatters.ca may be exchanged to the Chatters Distribution Centre or any Chatters store location for exchange only, provided that the exchange is made within 15 days of the original purchase date and is accompanied by proof of purchase, such as e-mail order confirmation (electronic or paper copies are both valid as proof of purchase). Customers can find proof of purchase by using the 'My Account' link found on www.chatters.ca. All items to be exchanged must follow the same aforementioned guidelines. If the customer is unable to find a suitable exchange or the desired item is not in stock, a gift card in the amount of the original price paid for the original product purchased, will be issued. Clearance items and prices are available online only. While quantities last. All clearance items are final sale.  

Do not return any products to Chatters via air shipment. Aerosol products in pressurized containers and products containing certain chemicals are restricted to ground shipping service only.
**Applicable free items are any items listed on your order invoice as 'free' or at zero charge.
