Beach Waves Hair Tutorial: Fast, Easy Summer Waves

Lorie Knickle July 30, 2020

Summer days call for summer waves! Let's face it: beachy waves are cool any time of the year. With texture, volume and touchable softness, this coveted look is a lifestyle. If you are looking for a fast, easy beach waves hair tutorial this is the one for you. Follow along as Celebrity Stylist Cindy Duplantis shows you how to get the look fast!

  1. Spray with a thermal spray that has hold, such as Redken Iron Shape 11
  2. Starting at your crown, use a comb to create large triangle sections around your head, as if you were using a beach ball or a pie as an example. The point of the triangle starts at the crown.
  3. Curl each triangle section with a curling iron. Any size will work, keeping in mind that the larger the barrel size the less curl you will get, while a smaller-sized barrel will give more curl.
  4. Elevate each section as you curl for maximum movement.
  5. Let the curls cool before breaking apart with your fingers.
  6. Finish with a salt spray such as AG Hair Sea Spray.

I hope you enjoyed this beach waves hair tutorial and have fun rocking this look!
