What is the Difference Between a Beard Cream and a Beard Oil?

The difference between the 2 are quite drastic and I believe using both will help you get the structure and shape of beard you are going for.

A Beard oil would go on directly after washing and conditioning your beard, the next step is applying the oil of your choice. Beard oils help lock in moisture and shine to your beard hair and your skin underneath your beard. Usually has a Shae butter additive to keep your beard from drying out or becoming too coarse and fly away.  So many scents and viscosities to choose from.  Here is my fave right now, it is a lightweight oil that is not too heavy that smells like energizing musk and citrus (YUM!):

A beard cream will be more of a styler , that has a hold memory to it. You would use it to shape and form your beard (when its dry) to your desired beard silhouette.  Also keeps your fly aways, frizz and the wild bushman at bay.

This product recommendation is right in the middle of holding factors, not too strong and not to weak of a hold. Perfect if your just starting out with using creams in your beard.
